Individual Assistance is available for nonprofits in need of support for the direct and immediate needs of one single client/family/constituent. Examples include, but are not limited to:

● Household Items

Awards must be used for the personal benefit of one individual client/family (for example, a youth aging out of foster care or family receiving rapid rehousing in need of supplies for their new home). Agencies requesting Individual Assistance may apply for support on behalf of their clients any time throughout the year. Applications are reviewed and applicants are notified of award status within 48 hours.

Vouchers of up to $200 (which can provide a total product value of more than $650) will be awarded per client. Individual Assistance awards must be used during a single visit to either of our locations, within 30 days of receipt. Together We Can Do More

“We supplement donations we receive from the community with products from MCS to ensure that we can provide those items that our families need most — primarily hygiene products, clothing, and household items for families in crisis. Right now, approximately 30% of the products we distribute come from MCS, and those products have helped us serve roughly 45,000 families across South Florida. We are SO glad to have MCS as a resource!”
